Lionel Andrés "Leo" Messi born 24 June 1987 is an Argentine Footballer who currently plays for FC.Barcelona and the Argentina national as a forward or winger. He also holds Spanish citizenship, which makes him eligible as a EU player. Considered one of the best football players of his generation and frequently cited as the world's best contemporary player Messi received several Ballon d'Or and FIFA World Player of the Yernominations by the age of 21 and won both by the age of 22.He also won the 2010 FIFA Ballon d'Or at the age of 23.His playing style and ability have drawn comparisons to Diego Maradona, who himself declared Messi his "successor".

He usually played as the centre attacking midfielder for PSV Eindhoven but can also play on either wing due to his pace and creative qualities. In 2007, Afellay was awarded the Johan Cruijff Award for "Young player" in the Netherlands.

Xavier Hernández i Creus born 25 January 1980 in Terrassa, Barcelona, Catalonia,more commonly known as simply Xavi, is a Spanishfootballer who plays as a central midfielder for La Liga club FC Barcelona, where he has spent his entire 13-year career.
Xavi was named the official Man of the match of the 2009 Champions League Final as he helped Barcelona defeat Manchester United to win their third Champions League title. He has been capped 101 times for the Spanish national team, with whom he won UEFA Euro 2008 and the 2010 World Cup. He was named Player of the Tournament by UEFA at UEFA Euro 2008.

Despite sustaining a serious injury as a child, he started his professional career with Sporting de Gijón. He moved to Real Zaragoza after two seasons, where he made his La Liga début, winning his first senior honours - the Copa del Rey and Supercopa de España. He joined Valencia CF in 2005 for a transfer fee of €12 million and was part of the Valencia team that won the Copa del Rey in the 2007–08 season. In 2010 he moved to FC Barcelona for €40 million.

Andreas Iniesta

Iniesta came through La Masia, the Barcelona youth academy, and impressed from an early age. He made his first-team debut in 2002, aged 18. He began playing regularly during the 2004–05 season, and has remained in the side ever since. He was an integral part of the sextuple-winning Barcelona side in 2009, the only time which a club has achieved six titles in a year. His contract with Barcelona runs until 2015.
Iniesta played for Spain at Under-16, Under-19 and Under-21 levels, before making his international debut in 2006. He was selected for the 2006 FIFA World Cup, playing one game, as Spain went out in the second round. He helped Spain qualify for Euro 2008, and played an important role in the side as they went on to win the competition, playing every game and being selected in the UEFA Team of the Tournament. Iniesta was selected for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and was a key member of the victorious Spanish side; he scored the winning goal in the final against the Netherlands, also being named Man of the Match, and was selected in the tournament's All-Star Team.

Mainly a Central defender, he can also play on either flank, especially as a right back.He also serves as a longtime team captain for his only club FC Barcelona after taking over from Luis Enrique in August 2004.
Gerard Piqué
Gerard Piqué i Bernabéu born 2 February 1987 in Barcelona, Catalonia is a Spanish footballer, currently playing as a central defender for FC Barcelona.
A product of Barça's cantera, he initially left the club for Manchester United in 2004, where he remained for four years, before returning to Barça under Josep Guardiola's leadership, helping the club become the first Spanish club ever to complete the treble. Piqué is one of four players to have won the UEFA Champions League two years in a row with different teams, the others being Marcel Desailly,Paulo Sousa and Samuel Eto'o.
Piqué has also represented the Spanish national team, making his debut on 11 February 2009. He played an integral role in the Spain team that won the 2010 FIFA World Club.
